A few new knives...
http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al.../black_tie.jpg Don Cowles "Black Tie" Gaboon Ebony, Alabama Damascus, 24kt gold pins, ruby...a nice knife http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...rven_mop_4.jpg http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...rven_mop_3.jpg http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...rven_mop_2.jpg http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...rven_mop_1.jpg Jim Serven knife, with mother of pearl scales. I'll let the photos do the talking; sort of a trick locking knife; I've never seen this before - pull the knife handle apart, rotate the blade 180 degrees, push handles back together again. |

Roger “Mudbone” Jones uses no power tools when he makes his knives. Here’s a fancy Scagel Style Damascus fixed blade knife. Here’s a miniature Scagel Style he made:

Gene Loro sadly no longer with us, was in his late 70s when I first met him at a knife show in Cambridge, OH. He made some very nice fixed blades knives; hand forging his own Damascus. He was a neat old gentleman.

It is the largest Antique Mall in Ohio. I've been stopping at Antique Malls for about 12 years now; I've gotten a feel for glancing at a display case and finding the ones with knives. Although I didn't buy it (although I wanted to) one case had an original issued John EK WWII made knife. I settled on this small knife, made by B. Wescott, who I can't find any information about online. A nice little custom: http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...ott_sheath.jpg http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...cott_right.jpg http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...scott_left.jpg http://iwantthatknife.com/Gallery/al...cott_knife.jpg |
