HB!!!!

Barbie 09-08-2017 10:21 AM

Thank you all!
I got to work the 6th and everybody was wishing me HB from the front gate... I was trying to say ,not today..till someone yelled from a truck... "Screw it...have the cake today because the line in Publix was too long already and tomorrow we wont have time!" So they did sign and lit the candles among boxes and packing. The 7th had to work all day evacuating the equipmemt, papers and things... My work place is a trailer on the very tip south... My home few block from there... So i was at the office at 5:30 amd not back home till 4 pm... To evacuate little Kelly with her turtles to her dad's home...not because she'll be safer but because ill be working immediately after and shell be out of school for a few days. Long days coming here. I return home to prep (today) and pack to go to my sister's house tomorrow. Not too much time to check here but a lot of texts not only with birthdays wishes but offers to hunker in their homes. Double thanks for that, Greg, Todd and others... The pig? I doubt his intentions were too altruist...but thanks anyways. :D I have to stay in the county, but will stay away from home which is supposed to flood.

I'll report back sometime next week, hopefully...but if i can say something for sure...an unforgettable birthday!

I stayed safe! Thanks. not sure about the house yet. Hope you all are ok. This b1tch has being all over the place! But thankfully, much better than expected. Stay dry...and cool! This 20 hrs without power closed in a shuttered house (still windy here) is getting me. Right now at 2:44am sitting by the open door, watching (with envy) over the girl sleeping on the couch like a rock and listening to the neighbors complaining about the heat... The usual for a florida hurricane. At home i have generator, power inverter etc, but this was an impromptu evacuation from a new dweling.... Next year I'll be ready. After all, all my liquoer stayed stranded behind :( That's unacceptable.
