Reckon any of the plastic pistols will last this long? :D I seriously doubt it. I won't be around that long though... (not to be picking on plastic pistols, I own 3 :rolleyes:)

I guess someone, somewhere, must own a 1911 produced in 1911 that still works and shoots just fine.

I got to handle a 1911 back in April that was made in 1918, I didn't get to shoot it but I watched the owner run 3 or 4 mags through it without a flaw.

here's a pic of it, it's the one on the table wrapped in it's original lanyard.

yep! I wish they were all mine but just the single six and security six at the very top are mine.
