Oh maaann. I haven't had cake or ice cream since 2017! :( Gotta keep both my weight and A1C down. Just got back from the doctor today. Overall, I'm Ok but I have to lose a lot more weight. I go for labs next week (they couldn't fit me in today)...

Quick Update: Scored another RIA 1911 via auction at GB. This one is for my niece. For my nephew, I'll have a Mossberg Shockwave waiting for him.

That will do it until I can start to work on the TAC-OPS Delta-51 next month!

Hey that is great. I have a co-worker SIL who lives in the Minneapolis area of MN. He has been trying to buy a gun for weeks. He was wanting a shield or Glock type pistol. He can't find anything. We have been watching buds and GB very closely now but the issue is he is a MN resident. They are like CA on weapons so everything is more difficult.

But I think we found him a shield last night so will see. This is just crazy

I dunno. I've always felt the need to get NIB stuff. I've been reluctant to buy "used" because, just my luck, I'll get one that was used in a Federal bank robbery where three LEOs were killed with it. :mad: I know, I have the ability to vet the weapon and check the serial #, but I'd still be a little concerned. Besides, half the fun is breaking in a new piece and fixing the kinks in it. More expensive? Yes. But a price I'm willing to pay.


That, and I'm also concerned that they actually *might* get some Anti-2A stuff passed. I want to ensure I have all my "acquisitions" complete before any of that happens.

I'm the same way^^ although just recently I finally came across a Mossberg 590 that's been damn near impossible to find due to the 'whole crap thing', a good friend found one and I jumped on it.
