Ha!

Fine Scotch, like fine pistolas and fine women, are only for the most discerning individuals with refined tastes and years of experience. Most certainly not for riff-raff such as yourselves :D

Honestly though, one bottle from me, part of one bottle from Navman, and some tasting of my new 18yo.

Oh, I guess another way of looking at it is... whatever it takes!

Frame, slide and small parts are prepped and ready for a trip to the blasting cabinet, then on to a hand rubbed polish on the slide flats. The pad on the beavertail is stippled and the bobtail is full stippled, added a unique touch to this one. Thumb safety has been fitted tuned and shaped for concealed carry.

Pics later, my back is screaming right now.

The pistol was received by the finisher today and I should have it back in 4-6 weeks.

In the meantime, Zane has been working on the camel bone grips. Here's a pic of the completed grips:

Next, the grips go to Jason for some scrimshawing.

Since I was a Mustang, I thought something to remind me of both my enlisted and officer days might be nice. I'm having the navy officer's crest done on one panel, and navy crossed anchors, the symbol of my enlisted rating, on the other.

I'm waiting patiently, Doc!
