@ Clyde, LOL! If you don't know about the zombies, you won't be ready for them. A favorite book of mine is by James Wesley Rawles. The title is "Patriots". You can get it from kindle or wherever. Good read, you'll enjoy it... then we'll talk about doomsday.

I was out straightening out my shop today, and decided to take some pics. Don't mind the mess. I was doing a little rearranging in the process.

Big Smoke, I see that brass picker upper thingy in your photo. Does it really work at picking up the spent casings?

Actually, it's pretty awesome. It's not as effective in gravel or tall grass. You end up picking up a lot of gravel in a gravel lot, but otherwise, it's great. Even in grass it's good, just not too tall. You have to pick it up lengthwise with the cases, but it's pretty easy to get used to, and definitely saves your back and knees.
People look at you strange when you first get to the range, but once everyone sees what it is, and how it works, they all want to know where to get one.

Dillon's Blue Press Magazine/Catalog, right?:D

That IS where I got it from, but since I have found it at other places also. I forget the name of the company, but if you buy it from Dillon, it ships from a nut company. Apparently, it is for picking up nuts off the ground, and can be used for brass.

Digging through some old boxes and look what I found. My, how the Speer Manual has grown since the old days:

Here's one I bought a few years back, for picking up pecans.
