Zane, if I find a set of the old Wilson Combat eagle medallions, can you put them in a set of your grips so they'll stay put?

I should be able too, I use 1500 psi epoxy when I install them so you'd have to break the grips just to get them out.:D

Riverpigusmc 07-18-2013 06:52 AM

Kewl. Now I need to search. I HATE the new Wilson logo

i'll do a little looking around as well, the old style medallions said Wilson and had an eagle on top right? and the new ones just say WC?

The old ones had the eagle landing with it's claws out ....the new one looks like the German SS symbol. Dunno what they were thinking

thanks Phil! i wish i had some that was bigger, i think these would look really cool as single action grips.

douglas_knott 07-27-2013 04:50 AM

How much for the full size, Blue dyed Maple Burl.
I really like them. I think they would look great on a stainless gun.

well they might be spoken for, i'm in the middle of a trade right now with a guy who owns a sawmill and he was wanting a blue set but he couldn't make up his mind which set of scales he liked better. I sent him pics of this set and the last blue set I made but i'm still waiting to hear from him, if he picks this set then I have some more Blue dyed Maple Burl that I can make you a set from, if not then i'll give you first shot at this set.

price would be $75 shipped and insured.
