Yes, indeed. The rules at Gunbroker are specific. A seller has 5 calendar days to contact the buyer (after an auction win and/or "buy now") to make payment arrangements (it is now day 2 of 5). The buyer (assuming it is an auction) then has 10 calendar days to complete payment, and the seller then has 14 calendar days thereafter to ship the product. So, in essence, since I "bought now," and payment has been sent, I guess that 14 day clock has started. We'll see what happens. I dunno. This particular seller has like 4885 A+ ratings, but he does have 35 "F" ratings within the last year. And, mostly, they are for failing to stay in communication with the buyer. I have to wonder whether or not those A+ ratings are fakes. And I know the seller has to contact me because my FFL's cert on Gunbroker has expired and they need the updated one. So I know he has to contact me. All the other sellers have contacted me for the updated FFL Doc, and shipped immediately after I got it to them. We'll see. |
I bought a pistol from gunbroker several years ago and I thought I got scammed because the seller never contacted me or updated the transaction. I put a claim in and that same day I get a call from my FFL saying I had a pistol come in for me. I was so confused because I had never given that seller my FFL info.?.?.?... Anyways, I was happy with the purchase but not once did I get any communication from that particular seller. Good luck bud.

I've discovered the seller has different contact info on a different page within GB so I will try that info. tomorrow and see. Otherwise, I think it's going to be just like you. The 14 day clock has started. After that, I go with GB's resolution procedure. |

As you can see I was able to fit the HG and get everything right. But we are far from over. Now it has to be tested. And, already there has been one test failure. When I attempted to test it with dummy rounds (snap caps), the BCG got stuck when I tried to extract. I had to take it apart, manually pull back the BCG and get the dummy round out. I guess the only way I'll be able to test it is with live rounds. At least the dummy round did load from the mag and went into battery. Thank you all for working with me on this. I have learned much. And I do feel a lot more confident in my building skils. You just have to know certain tricks to get things to work The "Liquid Wrench" was a good trick for stubborn roll pins. Placing the HG on required me to remove the gas block/tube assembly... but ever so slightly so that the tube stays aligned in the delta ring and I can depress the delta ring and lock in the HG. then I can push the cap onto the guard and set the block on the barrel. I'll keep you posted once I test fire it. Well... I hope I can report to you and am not blown to bits.... :D Thanks again. Oh, and PS.... In re: my issue with the Gunbroker seller, while he did not answer his phone, I did send him a direct email and attached the updated copy of my FFL's cert doc. Within 1hr, I noticed that the FFL doc flag on the order was switched to "Received." So, although he may not be talking, he could very well be shipping. We'll see. :lama: |
Me no see the pics.
My pleasure with the assistance but, you did the work. BZ. I’m sure the test fire will go just fine. Start off with one round in the mag. If the bcg locks back, load two or three and test fire. If she fires and cycles with no hiccups, pop her open and inspect for unusual signs or wear. If it looks good, load it up and have fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's because I tried to use a different pic. inventory other than imgur. I don't want to use imgur with 2A pics. Let me try something else. Sorry |

Try it now on the same post. |
OK, I give up. Something on the forum software is "censoring" the pics. I don't know what to do.
Can I only Insert images from a commercially available image storage site (eg. Imgur)? Is there a way for me to upload images directly from my computer? |
I’m not sure..... I use Tapatalk and even that app is pissing me off.

Update: Both items now shipped with FedEx Tracking, expected to the FFL on 01/14. This will complete my "recovery list." :D Looking at one more item and then a parts order for the next build. That should do it for a while. Then we look for more ammo. And we wait and see what Harris/Biden are going to do. |

I tried to use the "Gifycat" platform "The Boss" uses, but they scanned the pics and blocked them as they appeared to "violate their terms of service." I deleted them immediately. If any one wants to see pics, PM me with your email and I'll send them via attachment. Thanks all! |
This is what I see

I know. Apparently I don't have access to the right image servers that the forum software will accept. Likewise, at least one image server the forum does accept blocked the pics as "violating their terms of service." They must have scanned them and determined they were pics of a "big black scary Assault weapon." PM me your email address and I'll send them to you as attachments. |
Here ya go.

Most anyone can buy one but its a good feeling knowing that you built it yourself, looking forward to your range report. |

That should be forthcoming within the month. I have to get up to Georgia where my friend has some land where we can test fire. Oh, one more acquisition today. That will do it for a while. https://p1.gunbroker.com/pics/889514...x259577548.jpg The Sig Sauer P365 "Tac Pac" which includes holster and additional mags. With that, my "lost inventory" is now found. Next task: More parts for my next build. Edit: And, more ammo of course, when available and reasonably priced. |
You've certainly been building up your arsenal here as of late.
BTW …. I'm in the process of purchasing a new Mossberg 590 A1 Retro w/black furniture that I had purchased a OKC M9 bayonet for not long ago. Got a killer deal on it through a friend who works at a gun store, should have it within a week. I've been looking for one of these for a while, he finally found one for me. https://www.firearmsnews.com/editorial/mossberg-590a1-retro-shotgun-review/383624 https://knife-depot.com/products/knife-297383 |

I happen to purchase another Item from this same seller (a non-FFL item). He shipped it same day today. FedEx already picked up the item. So it seems he does a very good job. He just doesn't communicate a lot. |
looking good......nice job

Waiting is the hardest part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I usually feel better when I know it's in the carrier's possession. Then I can have them send me updates as it passes through the system. Oddly enough, it;'s USPS that has the best updates and has "Informed delivery, etc." Then again UPS has a "Track the driver" feature. When the pkg is "out for delivery," UPS will let you track the truck's movement via web. I think FedEx might also do that but haven't had the chance to check it out. |
True... tech has definitely made it less painful to wait for a package, unless you see the tracking info going the wrong direction!

Two LPKs from Palmetto State arrived this afternoon. I will build them tomorrow. Then the process of deciding what to do for uppers. I already have a 5.56mm 16" Carbine With a RDS, A .22 LR 16" carbine Upper with a RDS, and a 20" heavy barrelled 5.56 with a 3x9 scope.

I have the lower / upper / barrel and some of the small parts accumulated so far for a 300blk build. |

I'll have to look at that, as that caliber seems one for which there's a decent supply of ...... oooops ..... Can't mention that. Wouldn't want to cause a run on it and clean out the supply! :D |
Well I got one lower built this afternoon, wife needed to run some errands and wanted my company so the second one is still in boxes. In the process I found out that my armorers wrench is vacationing somewhere else, maybe even retired by now in Navy Land. Oh well my strap wrench got the castle nut gutentight (you know that good German torque). I have come to the conclusion I love Palmetto State Armory..Their lower part kits come with all the parts segregated in individual bags for the individual tasks. Bolt stop bag came with bolt stop, detent, detent spring and roll pin in one bag. same with the safety selector, mag catch and pivot/take down pins (they even included an extra detent. I built pivot pin detent tool using 1/4" aluminum rouns bar with a champhered 3/32" hole (I didn't even have to chase a detent or spring). I suspect the one I had built before is vacationing with the armorers wrench somewhere far away. Srill considering calibers for the upper. Anyone done anything with the 6MM ARC?

Yeah I like PSA as well. Once you put together your first couple of them, it becomes a cake walk.

And, to that end, Build 2.0 is now in progress for the 2nd serialized lower I have. Already received the barrel (another 16.1") and I was able to snag an Anderson assembled upper with BCG/CH (same as I got for # 1.0) on GunBroker for $260.00. Awaiting shipment now. And I still have some parts left over from #1.0. But we'll see. I figured I'd do what I can before Kommelia starts her crap.:insane: |

Both of the above now "In Da House!" Still waiting on the P365 to ship. Been 1 week. Won't worry until 2 weeks have passed. But it may affect the rating I give him.... |
Fingers crossed.
Good price on that upper you scores too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Believe it or not, I actually heard from the last seller. I got an update on the ETA. I was advised that as of today, they are processing orders placed on 01/11 and 01/12. My order was placed on 01/13. So maybe we'll hear from them in another day or two. We'll see. |
That’s good news.

OK guys kinda thinking about making one of the lowers into a PCC. I (hate to admit it) have a G17 with a dozen or so mags so thinking a 9mm. Anybody used a Foxtrot Mike on an AR15 lower with some sort of Mag adapter? I couldn't find one that uses 1911 mags so .45 acp is out. There is plenty of bloviation on You Tube but I would like the opinion of the Congregation.

Sorry... "PCC?" Sounds like some kind of pistol. As long as it doesn't fall onto the "nasty" weapon list... |

Ah, like 9mm or .45acp in an AR frame? OK. Is that to take advantage of cheaper ammo than things like XM855 Green tip? Or, perhaps, in the event that gets banned or something? |
