I was in the Navy.

Worked in Civil Engineering.

Retired.

Now I mostly annoy my wife and turn gunpowder into smoke.

Wife asked me what I was going to do today, I told her "nothing". She said "that's what you did yesterday". I said "I wasn't finished".

I should be able to see in a few days when the swelling goes away. :o

They've already outsourced our parts department to Napa. We're just waiting for Penske to come in with a good enough offer to take over the technician side of it. Very scary times we live in right now for anyone in Gov jobs.

Because we are the problem not the management above us workers. We have to produce with results. We have productivity reports every month and we don't do well we get in trouble or get fired...........yes it does happen. But thats not what......

I ain't going into it............

Feel free, I probably stole it myself. Can't remember being sharp enough to come up with it myself. ;)

I do know one of the neighbors asked the wife how I was and heard her reply, "Oh, better than nothing, I guess", so enjoy retirement and remember it's our job to be underfoot. That way she'll say "go do something" and I'm off to the range. :D
