AR15 Glock 9MM
So Howdy Pard's
Yep, It is time to move over to the dark side I went with an AR15 upper in 9mm and a Custom AR15 9mm lower that ONLY takes GLOCK Mag's. That is right it will take any Glock mag from a 26, 19, 17, 34 a 33 rd mag or a block Drum mag. This is not a conversion gun....it is set up for only Glock mags and NO, No, NO, it IS NOT PLASTIC:insane: I HAVE A MAGPUL GRIP AND BUTTSTOCK WITH A SOFT RECOIL PAD. I just received the iron sights in the mail and I will update photos when I get a chance. On Top is a Vortex Red-Dot in a 30mm tube. The mount lets you use the iron sights with out have to remove the red-dot. Shot is yesterday to start the sight in process, and never got a chance to finish. Everyone at the range wanted to shoot it :canoon: Here are some first looks at the gun and I plan to use it in Multi-3 gun matches. http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...to/AR159MM.jpg http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...15%20Sight.jpg Anyone who wants to try it should get on line...It is getting longer everyday funnyfunnyfunny |
Looking good.

Thanks Mike
Shooting 9mm loads with 3.9g of ClayDot, 130g Berry's bullet and Federal Primers. It is the same load that I use in my competition revolvers |
Gimme dat...and the 9mm revo.....
Love your style! |
Are 9mm rounds powerful enough to get to the end of the barrel? :)

It is off to the range to finish sighting in and a report back later. Iron sights are now on and I think that will be it on the build GaryR |
Nice carbine. I have always wanted a 9mm carbine, keltec sub 2000 in 9mm Glock magazines. Congrats

SO Howdy Pard's
Today I learned a big lesson....Do not go to your home range on Saturday. The range has CCW classes, and even who's is off wants to come out and play. But I did it anyway, used the rifle side of the range at 75' and hot off hand (a hard way to zero a rifle). Next week I will get there early, take out the bench rest and sight in properly..... But a little of what I did today until it got to crowded. The round was 9mm 3.9g of ClayDot, 130 g Berry's plated bullet and Federal Primers loaded on a Dillon 1050. http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...%20Sightin.jpg The Iron Sights are on the gun and I will update photos Sunday. Well, that is my story and I am sticking to it. GaryR |
Looks awesome, congrats

Well, I added a set of flip up / down sights front/rear and they can in fact-witness with the reddit in my Vortex. :D I think that is about all that will be added and I will just have the bolt/bolt carrier group Fail_zeroed this week and we are done. It is then range time............. http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/a...n%20sights.jpg This gun is a joy to shoot and it sounds alike a 22 when fired. GaryR |
