How much ammo ya'll got set aside just-in-case?


A bit out of date but I figure around 16,000 or so rounds of various calibers... I do tend to shoot a lot :)

Wow... I used to think I was stocked.

I have maybe a case or two of factory 9mm, and a few hundred home brews of 9mm and .45ACP. And enough supplies to make maybe 2000 of each.

God,let me think...Six 624 round crates of unopened AMA91, Four spamcans of HXP(480 rounds a can), another 2500 rounds of reloads loaded in En-Blocs in Bandoleers. That's just M2 Ball.

Three Greek Spamcans of .45ACP,unopened(1,000rounds per can), one opened Spamcan with four 49 round boxes out(All DEN & FA42-43 BTW). An unopened case of WWB, one opened case of WWB with, I think, three boxes out. 30 boxes of reloaded 45ACP, 3/4s with 230RNL,rest with FMJs.

1,000 rounds of reloaded .30Carbine and another 3000 rounds plus of assorted 38Spl,.357magnum, .44Spl,.44magnum and .45Colt. Oh, about 1/2 case of Win. 12Ga.Max-Load #1 Buckshot.

I got enough for a good firefight.

Well, you never know. I bought the biggest part of mine when it was a lot cheaper around six years ago. :) I just don't want to worry about having ammo:) I shoot a lot, and God knows what the government might try to do us later.

I use to have alot of loaded ammo, unfortunately I shot it all.

I need to get off my lazy but and load up some more. I have kinda been doing the load em as you need em.

I wish I had that kind of collection of ammo at my disposal. I wish that I could find some 223 for a price I could afford to stock up on.

Less than a million, more than a thousand.

I'd guess I have close to 10,000 rnds in the ammo cabinet .
(not including 22lr)
The bulk of it being 45 auto, 223/5.56 and 7.62 x 39

and enough components on hand to make 6- 7000 more pistol rounds

I like to keep a minimum of 3000 rnds of 45 on hand cause that's what I shoot the most .
A thousand min for all the other calibers

Right now I'm short of that mark for 44spl and 380

Two pallets 12ga, 3000 223, 7000 45, 5000 10mm, 3000 5.7x28, 2000 308, 300 338 LM, Various amounts of everything from 500 Nitro to 17hmr. 20,000 22lr. 1 Dillon 1050. Be prepared. lead is a better investment than gold or silver.

The movers would not move ammo, I did not have enough room to bring all mine.

I sold 1000 rounds of 12 bore,
shot 2000 rounds of 223, sold 500 more have about 250 left in mags.
sold 900 rounds of 5.7
shot 10k in 22 +- one or two bricks
shot 3000 rounds of 45, 9mm,
shot 1000 rounds of 40,
shot 1000 rounds of 38/357.

i need to re stockpile on once we buy a house here in ct.
