ZQI 308/7.62 x 51 @ 0.45 rd

I have heard nothing but good thing about this ammo.

I bought 11 boxes locally, but have yet to shoot it. I ain't worried.

Walmart sells it for $9.95 a box. I have alot of it, have shot thousands of ZQ1 rounds with zero malfs. It is one of the "chosen" ammos of .308 shooters. Good stuff.

True, but then there's tax, parking and the potential of seeing this:

Does anyone know anything about the Turkish 1911s Zenith sells?

How many Stainless Steel 9mm Commander Length 1911s will you find for an MSRP of $525? Sounds too good to be true!

Read about the Tisas 1911 here.....and yes, "too good to be true"

Great plinking ammo, just not for bench rest rifles. Clean shooting stuff, I have a good amount of it. Every wally visit (I try to stay away from there) I pick up a few boxes. It's reloadable too.

Thanks for the info. I was in Wal-Mart earlier this evening, so bought a couple boxes to try out.

Where is "here" - was there supposed to be a link in there somewhere?

I would like to see the link as well. The Tisas 1911 I had was excellent for it's price point. No failures of any kind and the fit and finish was nicer than a $1k pistol I used to have. The only negative I had about it was the trigger but, that can be smithed.

Found this about the early production Tisas Stainless 1911s:

http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/to...-a-do-not-buy/

Seems people had good luck with the blued Tisas models but when they came out with the stainless model it was a MAJOR POS.

Is is known for certain that these are the same as the Zig? The description of the finish in that article does match the picture...

the so called "Stainless" finish looks like they milled a frame and slide from a couple of pieces of steel, wiped them down with a scratch pad and threw them together
