Really cheap muzzle breaks

Saw this posted on my local forum and guys were all over them.

I have no idea if the company, Damage Industries or the muzzle breaks are good to go, but for the price...can't be beat.

I hear the muzzle breaks don't come with crush washers. :(

those are CHEAP...for that price I can find a dang washer!! Nice

TLE2 11-17-2016 02:09 PM

I noticed one did have a cw but the others didn't.

Hmmm idk. Never heard of said company and those prices are ridiculously low.

Generally buy cheap get cheap IMO..

I don't get why some muzzle devices are so damn expensive. You can get a very high quality faxon barrel for the price of many of the devices on the market

this signature exceeds the 15 character capacity count

I bought and used their recoil spring in my other ( past ) AR and it was a great spring . A lot less noise and helped with recoil alone with a heavy buffer .

They seem to sell a lot .

I totally understand you thoughts and respect them, but an A2 bird cage muzzle break can't be all that complicated....right?

agree...its a piece of metal/allow whatever machined and colored...never understood why they are $50. some of its paying a name or keeping the lights on but it can't cost more than 5$ to make when making 100 at a time?!

Soft meal, improper threading, etc.
Buy once, cry once.

Riverpigusmc 11-18-2016 10:30 PM

I never understood buying a muzzle brake for a poodle shooter that has Nancy recoil. I reckon it looks cool, but c'mon.....flash suppressor/hider, yeah, but muzzle brake?

BlackKnight 11-18-2016 10:35 PM

Muzzle break is a pc word that gets around the libertard laws here in N.J.

Riverpigusmc 11-18-2016 10:45 PM

ah......in my world a muzzle brake is on the end of a Barret .50 BMG bolt action, directs the gasses back to reduce felt recoil, and blows the living hell out of the eardrums of anyone next to ya. Flash supressors are on the end of M-16's

But that's just my observation

Which is obviously correct, but like I said used to get around loopholes in the law.

Ok. Change the title to "really cheap flash hiders". :)

Nah, I asked coz they had muzzle brakes on the page too

JohnR 11-19-2016 08:50 AM

I didn't see "Made in USA" on their website.

AFJuvat 11-19-2016 01:36 PM

Biggest challenge in making a flash suppressor or a muzzle brake is concentricity.

Slightly off, and bad things start happening.

Caleb 11-19-2016 05:04 PM

Search on YouTube for muzzle devices comparison. There are several videos in slow motion that shows the flash hiding ability of several FH devices as well as muzzle brakes. You would be surprised how different they all are as far as actually doing what they are supposed to. I do t see why some are $100+ but, I'll pass on the $10 ones.
