Separator?

How do you all separate you media after you tumble your brass? I have a lyman vibrating tumbler deal and it does a great job of cleaning my brass. A little new finish car wax, corn cob media and wha la shiny brass! But then I have issues, I use a this pan:::

then I have to then go shell by shell to make sure I get the media out. Do rotary separators work better or do you still have to do it the hard way?

Any thoughts would be nice, let me know what you use and how you like it.

thanks!

I use 2 colanders, set one on top of a bucket, dump the brass and media in, set the other on top upside down and hold both rims together and shake

You can buy the plastic colanders from Dollar General for a couple bucks apiece. Then get a Homer bucket from Home Depot to let the media fall in

Dillon Media Separator
I have the small one pictured below which is plenty large enough for my needs.

My RCBS tumbler has lids, one solid for tumbling and one slotted for dumping your media when you're done. I say give big green a call, I'm sure if you told them "your's got misplaced" they'll send ya one. Or you can buy one from them.

I use one of these from Cabelas, since they are right down the road: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...3Bcat104661180

I think I will get a enclosed separator, I make such a mess with that darn pan....$30 is not bad...a bucket is cheaper though.....
