Simple fix learn to save for what you are addicted to:

Lets see: roaches like old moldy food, dead animals, poop, and being a PITA:eek::eek::eek::eek::D

Just the "Battle Ready" blades:
http://www.cotep.org/forum/picture.p...&pictureid=798
Top Row: Glamdring (Gandolf's sword) because you never know when you need to hew a few orcs :D
Second Row: Uncle Henry Pro Hunter (modified), Puma Bowie (my favorite)
Third Row: Liuyedao (Willow Leaf Sabre from the Qing Dynasty - not original of course but a damn fine reproduction)
Fourth Row: USMC Kabar, US Army Kabar
Fifth Row: CSA Officer's Dress Sword

Zoomed in a little for detail:

Very nice DrHenley!!:)

The Japanese Officers Katana in my picture is an original war souvenir bring back. The gentleman who brought it back was moving and was throwing out his items. He also had a complete Japanese uniform that I did not want..........man I can kick myself now for not taking that also!!!

Oh WOW. That was a great find! My son collects katanas, but none are originals. He gave me the Willow Leaf Sabre. I believe that was the ancestor of the modern Western sabre. It was used by both infantry and cavalry during the Qing and Ming dynasties.

NamVet,

Who is the maker of the Bowie on the upper left of your OP? It has nice dimensions to it. Looks like it could be very fast handling. Really like it.

Careful with Andy. He is somewhat handy with those knives. Pulls one from the right, then when you are attending to it, here comes another one from the left. Ouch!

sstpierre 07-10-2014 07:01 PM

Nice stuff!

Always wanted one of those tiny switchblades, where did you get yours?

AutoMag 07-10-2014 07:03 PM

I don't know how I missed this. I appreciate the offer. But it looks like you have more knives than you can handle. I'm will to help you out by running through my Sharpmaker to help you keep the edge on them nice.

It's one of my original obsessions, but I only started collecting knives when I could afford quality.

Of course, you've studied the hand to hand techniques more than me, so you've got that on me. I downloaded Applegate's book recently and planned to start reading it during my vacation.

Beautiful knife collection(s) Guys. Obviously I am drawn to the US Navy Ka-bar.

Jealous......
