Echo....
sure is a cute pup. Matt and I were able to link up today in the big city of Poulan GA. Enjoyed meeting Matt and hope to see them again soon.

Great looking pup! You guys look OK too, LOL.
Still think "Eclipse" would be a great name for a gunslinger's black Dobie. :p |
Waaayyyy coooollll!!!
|
which one is the dog? :p
Matt called me on the way back home...could not get over how gracious the Colonel was in meeting up with him, and what a great guy he was. |

Sweet! I think you are driving back today if so then you are probably somewhere near Orlando? Have a safe rest of the ride!

Thanks Mike ... for everything! We made it back safe and sound to Miami. Let me assure, she was on her best behavior to get out of that shelter - lol! In the car she would pitch a bloody fit then fall back to sleep. Wake up and repeat process. I have the sense she was handled way too much while in their care and has some separation issues ... this too shall pass :D
PS folks, I picked up a dead sexy Colt from the Colonel today too!!! Sadly, I doubt I'll be able to enjoy it for the next couple weeks as my hands are WAY full with Echo. Damn cool day though when I can pick the both of them up at the same time and meet a true gentleman! |
Y'all were within spitting distance. If I'd known I would've bought a round.

Awesome! All around goodness!

Cute pup, not so much the other too! :p
Congrats on both pick ups! |
Beautiful pup Matt!!!:)
Glad that you and Mike got to meet each other. |
Thanks all - she's nice but young. I counted the days on a calendar and she won't even be seven weeks until Tuesday. A bit too young to have left her mom and sibs but it is what it is. At least she won't catch anything at my house whereas she could have there.

Yep, six weeks was how old our Briard was when we picked him up. The breeder was stressed with two (rare for Briards) litters and her husband fell ill suddenly. She asked if we could take him early.
He cried and slept alternately all the way on our long drive home, laying in my wife's lap. He was strongly bonded to her for the rest of his life. I was his alpha and pal (mostly pal, LOL) but she was his love and he was protective of her beyond reason. Avery friendly, child loving and intelligent boy BUT any perceived threat to wifey and the Wolf came out. Wifey always introduced us as her two "wolves". :D |
Nice puppy.
