Hi all,

I guess now is a good a time as any to introduce myself. I found this forum through another 1911 site when I was researching my first 1911. It was through these two sites that I decided to buy a CBOB as my first 1911. After purchase, I kinda neglected all forums, occasionally visiting different forums when researching other pistols to purchase. I now own 2 Dan Wessons ('09 CBOB/'14 Specialist) and a Roberts Defense Operator. Hoping to purchase at least 2 more 1911's before the year is out as it will be harder to buy certain pistols here in California after the first of the year. Anyways, just checking in to finally say hi and learn more before deciding on my next purchase.

A good friend was born and raised in Ceres, he was smart and moved to Georgia!

To quote CCR "Stuck in Lodi again".

Not a bad place to be stuck really, but I wouldn't mind leaving this state altogether. The wife is pretty deeply rooted here, but is not completely opposed to the idea......

Lodi eh? Not a bad place...could be worse! Stockton, Fresno.....:D

Someday, maybe....we'll move to a free state. Until then, we'll continue to enjoy the beauty that is California....the beaches, the mountains, rivers, etc.

Amen to that, 2 hours to the snow, 2 hours to the ocean, beautiful scenery, beautiful women..... But I'd give it up for real freedom, but I won't lie, I would miss it.

Haven't been there in a long, long time but will always love my time there.

It is, truly, a beautiful place that has been ruined by the Libs and invaders.
