First SBR!
I just finished up my first SBR build. I'm still waiting on some sights for it but I'm very pleased so far. I had the gun Cerakoted to match my 16" rifle I already had built. The SBR is a consecutive serial to the 16" rifle.

now that is nice!!!!

Very nice pair! Loving the color too. Burnt Bronze, right?
|
Yep, burnt bronze. Thanks!
|
Nice. How do you like those Anderson lowers?

Love them!
|
They are running $44 right now. Stripped of course.

First SBR!
Worth every penny. Both of those guns are primarily all Anderson parts. Anderson lower, LPKs, uppers, upper parts kits, bcg, charging handle, and barrels. Only thing aftermarket are the grips, stocks, handguards, and muzzle devices.
And I prefer the lowers with the enclosed trigger guard rather than the traditional ones that have the hinged guard. Looks cleaner to me. |
Beautiful weapons sir

Very nice!

Thanks fellas.

Sheer class....the consecutive serial numbers icing on the cake.
|
Thank you!
|
Yeah the price and enclosed trigger guard are attractive indeed. I should've bought one from AIM on Black Friday but whimped out. Builds get expensive quick.
Where did you get the cerakote done at? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 |
Also, how did you get consecutive serial numbers?

Perks of being a dealer and buying in bulk. I still have half a dozen lowers available with consecutive serial numbers. :) |

Cerakote was done by a guy locally to me. I think I might give my next one a try myself. |
I'll be going to a gun show tomorrow and already have 4 consecutively numbered Anderson Lowers with the closed trigger guards waiting for me. I intend on using them for a family build. One for myself, wife and each of the kids. I'm excited!

WOW x 2

Well I picked up my group of lowers and noticed that they all have tight magwells. PMAGS (both RevM and GEN 3) as well as my Surefire 60 barely insert and need pulled out. USGI and Lancer Warfighter work fine.
So my question to you Olympus is... are your magwells tight as well? |
I wouldn't say that are tight. They are slightly snug, but they eject just fine.

Beautiful carbines Olympus. Consecutive serial numbers icing on the cake
