Need help with what rings to mount a scope

All the scopes I have mounted before were Picatinny or Weaver base. This EMEI bolt gun has different mounting grooves than I am familiar with. The top of the groove measures .45" if that helps. It has not been drilled. Any help on what rings or base to buy would be helpful.

EMEI which is Chinese Arsenal made. Might be part of Norinco. It is a 7.62x39 bolt action with a super light trigger.

I have a set of Weaver rings that are too big. It is only slightly under a half inch wide but I thought all Weaver mounts were the same size so if there are different size Weaver bases then that may be what is throwing me off.

Well I believe I have figured it out. I think it is an 11mm groove. CZ is the most common use for the 11mm rings. Most US made rings are 3/4" and 11mm is just under 1/2" so the standard Weaver rings are too wide at the base.

The manufacturers specs say it is effective to 400m for hunting. I am thinking it would deliver more punch than 300 BLK because it is a full size 7.62x39.
