Great deal on ammo cans!
 

I just got my Midway order. I ordered Grade 3 .50 cal ammo cans for $5.99 each they just arrived and are in great shape. Only one had some rust on the lid from stacking. If you need them this is a great deal. I got 3 cans and a Gerber saw to drop the shipping for $35, at the surplus store those cans in same condition are $18 each.

GREAT heads-up on this one

They still show as available. You ne d to select the grade you want but they have Grade 1 for $17.99, Grade 2 for $9.99, and Grade 3 for $5.99.

I promptly stuck 1,000 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 in one with a silica gel bag and then put 500 more wolf and probably 480 of another Russian brand in the second can. The third has all the left over Russian boxes and another 500 mixed stripper clip ammo. I really needed to get that ammo into something a bit more modular than the empty wood wine box I was using. The wood boxes had no handles and held too much ammo in it to be useful. Who would have thought that ammo cans would be the best solution to store ammo! Oh I guess it is that obvious!
