He was a Saudi officer over here doing flight training close to 2 years now.

Not exactly, yes 9 of the 16 assholes that perpetuated 9-11 were Saudi's, they were all civilians not military. The Saudi military has been training personnel with DoD since the early 70's thank you Jimmy Carter. Though I believe Nixon era actually started the program. DoD currently provides training for over 36 countries on a wide array of equipment. Vetting of personnel is suppose to be a joint effort... Vetting is obviously a trial and error process. E.O.D.

The asshats were all trained at airline training schools in Florida. Supposedly the State Dept. and HLS put an end to any Tom, Dick and Syed signing up for flight school.
Of course none of this fixes todays problems.
