that may be one reason why, but you love to say mimber.. I bet every time you read "mimber" it puts a smile on your face.

The thread is not a Kimber bashing thread as far as I can see. It's a failure of an MIM part. This is the MIMBER section right?
Plus I wanted to see how Clyde would react....:D |
From James Coburn in Payback....
"Man that's just mean! That's mean man!" ( but out of respect, we won't mention the broken hammers over here at this thread, hehehehe............ http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=315127 ) |

HEHEHE Ellison look at the MIMBER New Gun and then Look at the DW 07,08.................... Now you know why........................:rolleyes: Clyde |
Uh guys? I really hate to rain on any 'Mimber-parades' but, that's not a MIM part, it's cast. If you look at the break you'll see the color and grain, MIM is darker and not as grainy. That's a pressure break, there's no voids or anything else in the pics that would precipitate that break. The Clown was putting too much pressure on the paddle trying to control the recoil.
