Bought a Sig 1911 Carry Nitron Today
 

Well, I guess I've got the bug. Just bought my 2nd 1911 in as many months. This time a Sig Carry Nitron.

It's a 4.2" barrel, Commander sized thing. Here's a stock photo:

Unfortunately I couldn't afford a real custom, but these have a pretty solid reputation. 8 round magazine, terrific fit and finish, nice rosewood grips, low profile night sights, SS slide and frame. We'll have to see about the external extractor, but after looking around the net, I couldn't find any serious complaints.

To me it looks like my next carry piece.

I should take delivery this Friday. Range report sometime this weekend. I'll be starting out feeding it my own hand loaded JHPs.

Very nice looking commander. I like it.

LOOKS GOOD!! I've looked at them from time to time. Really like the 3.5" ultra.

Many customs are custom only in name. It looks good and I bet it shoots good too. My BUG is a sig. Look forward to your range report. Shoot straight.

Like I said in another post, if its anything like its big brother... It's gonna be more accurate than you or I Pitlog! Congratulations. Now, go get it dirty!
