The United States Constitution is Crystal Clear regarding The 2nd Amendment. And The Supreme Court already upheld that it's an Individual RIGHT! IF The State Police go door to door in CT. It will not turn out nice.

just so you know. There is no proof of that letter being sent or received. CCDL has received several variations submitted to them.

I grew up in Stamford, have a Bachelor's from UConn and got my first gun & CCW there in the 90's. I moved away ten years ago and except for a visit to my folks house every couple of years, I have no need for that embarrassment of a state :facepalm:

That letter was easy to find on a reputable Gun Site. But, I do not live there.
So I can not say it's really True with Honesty.
BUT, given the Fact the CT. DID pass those Laws, it is likely that the letter is legit, sent out or not.

I was in the shop today when two gunstores and ccdl were talking about this letter. The issue is that they have received several versions of this letter. all edited. same person, different wording here and there. They opened some of them in photo shop and found layers of changes. The most likely scenario is that some one created it to either garner support from the 2nd amendment group, or to push the 2nd amendment group into reacting rashly.

CCDL even tried to run several searches for the man listed on the original version. It is not likely that this letter has been sent. Is it possible that it was written by state police. Possible, but the working state troopers want nothing to do with this. Only our Governor's hand picked leadership jackasses like the punk in the vid seem to give a rats ass about it.

Reputable gunsite or not, the letter as shown is bullshit.

I definitely can NOT Imagine ANY State Police wanting anything to do with Unconstitutional Laws , period.

The amount of manpower it would take to go door to door is not available.
