Winchester 1911 ammo
 

While researching the link for the recall of Winchester 22lr I stumbled across their pitch for their new line of ammo. Anybody familiar with it? Worth the extra $$?

Not worth it to me....I practice with as close to what I use for SD as possible.

Yes, I have some. It's Really Good Ammo! I have the JHP and FMJ and I can tell you, the JHP is a hotter load than the FMJ. Winchester says they're the same ballistics. But shooting both says The hollow points are hotter! No biggie, just worth mention . Very Consistent accuracy on both the Target loads and Defense Loads.

I paid $20.00 for 50 FMJ and $35 for 50 JHP at the Local Gun Show a couple months ago. The JHP's look like Silvertips to me!

ok, I carry Wilson's custom stuff with the Barnes bullet, but load my own plinking stuff until I find some VV N320

That Factory Ammo is the kind that a machine loaded. :D
