The Group Text..as a weapon
 

So here I am, up in SC. Not far from Beaufort, yet on a dirt road where we can shoot out of our back door. My new phone is not working here, they think the internal antenna is screwed up. BUT, it works fine in town, closer to cell towers. A rare occasion, yesterday, I decided to take my wife and daughter to Walmart in town. I usually don't leave the property once I unload the trailer when we come up here. I bring tons of ammo and booze, I'm good to go. Anyways, as we drive into town my cell gives the text tone..... BING! Cool, I figure, prolly on of my friends wants to come over....Then BING......BINGBING....BINGBINGBINGBING.....the phone went berserk. My daughter was laughing so hard she had tears. Seems some whackjob on COTEP posted a group text and every single response hit me at one time......Caleb......nice rifle......ya dingbat

Joe we know you don't get no txts any other way....................

Welcome to the modern era!

My wife says..."COTEP must think you died or were ignoring them"...Hell no, I'm just chillin' out here. Funny thing is we have the internet up here all good to go after years of new wires, and now all three kids have laptops so we need a system than can handle all at once. New router, I think.

Gonna make a video tomorrow...I must be in a better mood!

:D Believe it or not, I got some slack over it by several people. Lets see..... over 50 folks to text Merry Christmas to, should I text one by one? Heck no! That would take forever! Next time, if you get a holiday text from me, consider yourself one of the lucky few. funny I have learned my lesson on "group texting".
