Everyone should carry what they are comfortable with. I'm not going to say what is right for someone else.
I carry a Sig Ultra 1911
because besides being small and light enough to carry in a pocket holster (cargo pocket) it is the most reliable pistol I've ever owned. It is bone stock because there is nothing I would want to change about it. I have run an IDPA match with it and I did not feel like it was a handicap.
I *have* shot a G***k. Did not like anything about it. There is only one tupperware gun I have enjoyed shooting, a CZ P07. Great trigger, great ergonomics, and accurate.
