Brownie, would you be willing to illuminate this front sight preference? Particularly of interest is how you run a 1911 in that regard. I for one, and perhaps others, am trying to develop a more natural point and shoot with my 1911's. Am I on the right track? Your mil-spec looks just like the one I carried from 1958 to 1962.
