Agreed, my dad would have knocked me into the next county if I said any of that but we also have to understand that kids can get into more trouble now than they could in our day and also that the laptop is pretty much a required item in most high schools today. So unless he wants her to flunk out he will get a new laptop. Also remember that he has not cut her off from FB, just from doing it from her laptop, her friends all have laptops and she will fire the next volley in the war from a distance which he can not control!
