I have family who live in Tenn, they say it's gotten hammered with drugs and crime lately, not like it used to be. They say the sad thing is, it's mainly the ones who were born and raised there and it's beginning to turn away the people (money) who want to move there.
Hell, I also have family who live in W.Va. and the same things happening there.
