Not at all the same. In making the cake for a gay wedding they are actively participating in an activity that is contrary to their religious beliefs.

But a restaurant serving food to someone is simply allowing that person to eat. It is in no way endorsing or participating in any activity that is contrary to their beliefs...unless they believe that people they disagree with should starve to death.
