It does.... One of the "fab four" of Miami Vice fame.
In the pilot episode of the old Miami Vice TV series, Tubbs is still chillin' on Crocket's sailboat (The "St. Vitas Dance"), while waiting for the big deal with Calderone to go down. While doing so and getting around Elvis (Crocket's aligator
), Tubbs is rummaging through Crocket's music collection (cassettes, still at that time). Much to his dismay, he finds these four musicians, primarily:
1) Waylon Jennings
2) George Jones
3) Jimmy Buffet
4) Dickey Betts
Sonny Crocket was definitely into SOFL music.....
