 If you dont like Heinie Straight-8 sights, you may not like the XS sights. They are a front tritium with white outline dot that sits over a tritium vertical bar in the rear. I would consider them a defense sight, not a target sight. Just depends what you want the gun set up for.  I thought these were perfect for my concealed carry build, but wouldnt want them on a target pistol

I do think you would love the XS front sight for it's white outline. It is very visible (even on the small dot set I went with). 
 
My RIA Match has a red fiber-optic front sight with black rear and I love that set up. In daylight conditions, the front sight is very pronounced and easy to use.
