Default My new Rock 9mm

Yesterday, I took the latest family member to the range. It had already had the Dave Waits' Karma grips and the reliability cleanup from his great posting that's making the rounds again! I put over 400 rounds thru it from all kinds of ammo; FMJ, JHP, Some Hard cast, some junk I had laying around and even some wad cutter. That gun was flawless, never a FTF or FTE. POA=POI. I'll post pictures this morning. After banging with the 9mm, I switched over and put my NH 22 conversion on it! Another 300 rounds later, I'm convinced this is a sweet gun!

Ron, my experience (and range report) for the same gun (which we got on the same day!) is virtually identical. It is a sweet shooter. No FTF or FTE's. Reliability job also completed. Just sweet. I did use the slipstream oil and grease from http://www.lascoleather.com (NormanDxm) and the action is now like butter. Try it, you'll like it!

Michael, I've been using Gun Butter on all my guns but I may just switch. Here's some of the shooting done yesterday with both the 9mm and the 22 conversion.
1)22LR

2) 9mm

These were all shot at 10 yards. I don't have pictures, but during my "training session", that consists of what's call 45 training; 5 shots, 5 seconds, 5 yards, 5" target both the 9 and the 22 were super! I usually and intentionally train with the 22lr conversion on my T3 Nighthawk because it's the gun I normally carry. But I may just leave the 22 on the Rock! Forgot to add, these are dirty, and haven't been cleaned yet! Plus the beautiful grips I won!! Thanks Dave!
