Hi all. For the longest time I wanted a 1911 with a clean classic look but I didn't want to spend $3000+ for a custom to get it. When I saw the DW Valor and read the reviews about how tight the tolerances are, especially for its price point, I knew my time for a 1911 had come.

I also wanted some of the DW factory woods grips with the medallions but was disappointed to see they have not made these for quite some time. So I did the next best thing and salvaged some medallions from some beat up revolver grips and sent them off to Larry Davidson.
