Howdy Pard's
As most of you know, I not only compete in Cowboy shooting but also in Steel Challenge. And As most of you know, I can not leave a gun Stock and must play with it and make it a little special. So, since I have been shooting in the hot heat of the Florida Summer, I have decided to take a perfectly good gun out of the safe and try to make it even better. Well, I think that I have done sooooooooooo. I started with a S&W model 67-5 (a performance center gun) and removed the rear sights, and the cylinder. The cylinder was sent to TK Industries and had it cut for Moon-Clips (hold six rounds and do fast reloads) I replaced the rear sight with a custom rail and attached a Red-Dot sight. The black Fat rubber grips were removed and replaced with a set of Jerry Miculek thin grips. The springs (hammer and trigger) were replaced with a set for speed competition. The last thing replaced was the cylinder release and it was replaced with an extended quick release one. The result is as follows: ![]() ![]() ![]() Enjoy! ![]()
