round two is just starting up, it's been bad here but it's been much, much worse 20 miles south of me. the Blanco River has risen to 40+ feet, shattering records set back in the 1920's. people are stranded on their roofs and they're requesting helicopter rescue. people have called 911 reporting that they hear people crying for help from the darkness out towards the river.

they just reported that where the Blanco river meets the san Marcos River has risen 14 feet in the last 30 minutes. 19 feet in an hour.

these folks could sure use y'alls prayers.

update,

some of the people stuck on their roof have now jumped to nearby trees because their house is being washed away.

a bridge over the Blanco river in Wimberley has now be completely destroyed, only the pillers remain.

The City of San Marcos says the Texas Department of Transportation is closing Interstate 35 at Blanco River right now due to high water. multiple cars are in the water.
