Um.....sort of. If you have a gun that is not a bbq gun, a working gun these coatings are the way to go. tough as all get out, don't need a lot of oil to keep it running, WAY cheaper than say a hard hat type finish. YES there is a place for a "high end" finish but the coated finishes are a good choice...
Yes I do appreciate a finely finished gun as much as the next guy. And No I would not coat any higher end gun either....

ok ok I will get off my soap box now

PS> not don't take offence to this Sheepdog, not trying to make you miffed....just wanted to put my point of view.

My vote is for other.

I would personally choose Robar's NP3 Plus or Roguard. I'd definitely contact Severns for additional info on Hard Hat.

IMO, that's what that gun really deserves.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

Howdy All

As I suggested to , The only way to go in todays ever changing weather conditions is Fail-Zero.
Take it in the water, mud, sand or all of the above...just wipe it down and you are ready to go again...
