The RCBS die setup on the 550 is basically the same as it is on the Rock Chucker and other presses. While I screw the die into the Rock Chucker roughly 1/4 turn past shell plate contact, with the 550, I set it to just touch the shell plate.

I see that you've received your additional info in the other thread. Screwing the bullet seating die in until it touches the case mouth, then backing it off by a full turn is the correct answer.

I personally put a light crimp on rifle cases, in die station 4. It's not necessary, but I belong to the better safe than sorry crowd.
