One of my biggest pet peeves. I love reading and I cringe when an author describes a magazine as a clip.
Another is "muscle memory."

Book I was listnening to on CD yesterday kept saying "Clip of Bullets". Also kept mentioning the "Smell of Cordite." (set in modern day LA)

A chill runs down my spine when I'm talking guns with someone and they say clip instead of magazine.
