I wonder if someone will start a web site to try and reunite some pieces with the frame serial number. How many pieces are there that are stamped?

So it also sounds like they are trying to make the argument that a CMP 1911 is higher value than a same condition non CMP 1911. I would say CMP does have a little more value with papers and possibly the snazzy case like the garands. I do like that these would be a little more historical than a run of the mill beat up 1911.
