have both for pocket carry(*Long story). I love them a lot but favor the PPS due to the grips and trigger ...which seem a bit better than the shield imho. both serve me well and are good range toys as well

I agree and this coming from a M&P aficionado. The Walthers ergos are so much better and the gun just shoots lights out. Don’t get me wrong, I still like the Sheild. Both are good CCP choices. I have lost count of how many rounds I’ve shot through it but, it has not had any failures. I installed the Mag Guts +1 spring kits in all of the magazines and it’s been feeding as normal. So far so good on that “upgrade”. Now I can carry 9+1, 8+1, or 7+1. I tend to run the 9+1 in the gun and carry a spare 9+1 on my person. Loving this gun so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
