I don't necessarily agree with your forecast of doom for Armscor 1911s regardless of what brand name they're marked with (RIA, Citadel, etc). They have a solid reputation for value and customer support. I bought one under the Charles Daly banner in 2006 (EFS Field model) and it's been solid. So solid that I use it as a platform for a 400 Cor-Bon conversion

Ruger wlll not put RIA out of business, that is for sure. But if the Ruger is the same or better quality, Ruger will but the serious hurt to RIA sales. It looks as the gun will sell at or slightly under 7 bills out the door and into your safe.
That is for a gun that every part is USA made. With real Novak sights, not cheap ripoffs. |
