I truly believe there is nothing more threatening than racking a round into a pump shotgun in the dark....everybody knows that sound and everyone knows what to do when that noise is made!

I used to mentally train and prepare to shoot towards that sound. In my case I would be hearing upon conducting a raid.

I’d gtfo if I heard that sound! Lol Honestly tho, my preference would be to have one in the chamber with safety on. On the Mossberg the safety is on the top or the grip where your thumb just lands on it. Hear a thump in the night, grab the 500, and flick that safety off in no time. Unfortunately, the female unit does not feel comfortable operating it that way if need be. So, I currently have it with an empty chamber and safety off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
