Default Good Question

In the 1970s, I was a Corpman and Drug/Alcohol Abuse Counselor in the Air Force, which gave me the misguided idea to go to graduate school for social work. For the last 32 years, I have been a Clinical Social Worker. From 1997until I retired in 2010, I worked with service members and their families. (I have been credentialed at both Walter Reed and NNMC-Bethesda.) This included post deployment combat veterans. (I hold additional certification for working with victims of trauma.) I also served in the Army Reserve as a Social Work Officer, retiring in 2004.

Since retiring in 2010, I do some part time EAP work (telephone counseling) for Carebridge Inc. I am also involved with The Soldier's Project, on a voluntary basis. http://thesoldiersprojectpa.org/
