I'd say that right there makes up for the price difference between this kit and the AA kit then. Probably makes your kit a bit more realistic in terms of weight too.

Default Opticals for 22 LR conversion on T-3

Ok, they're starting up a rimfire competition at the local gun club here. I can shoot the 22LR conversion on either my CCO or my T-3. I can also add an Optical sight, like a Burris FastFire 2. That being said, the iron sights I'd like to keep in place. The top of the 22 slide is flat and I found a Vortex Red Dot mount that appears might work. If not then I need your inputs on what could be used for a Red Dot optical (holographic-style) sight mount. Whatcha think? The pictures of the slide are first in this chain.

I have no idea about red dot sights on pistols, although I know a professional shooter that uses JPoint. I don't remember how he had it mounted though.

ETA: Looking at it, I think my post was of absolutely no help! Sorry. I am interested in hearing what you go with though.
