Are you saying these have a habit of breaking?
I'll take your advise and call Kieth after they get back up and running in a few months. I don't plan to shoot this a great deal since its so nice. I also have other 1911s that I condsider shooters.

No, It was made a while back. An external extractor might be hard to find. If he had any it may be a good idea to pick one up as a spare.
