Welcome to COTEP from CT. One of the stupidest moments of my life (and there were many entries for "stupidest") included not buying a CBOB for $750 two years ago. I couldn't decide, by the time I did, someone else decided quicker.

I'm glad you were smarter than me.

Wow, $750 for a CBOB. And to think that new Rock Island Armory 1911's go for almost $600 now, or maybe a few hundred less a few years ago. Still the difference in quality is ginormous.

I've been thinking of switching to a 1911 .45 to replace my .40 for EDC. Came across an Ed Brown Kobra Carry at a LGS and fell in love with it, but it was $3K. Then researched and found out about the DW's, came across a NIB deal, and I was done for. This CBOB will be put to good use on my side.
