Welcome to the fold Carl!
I'm down here in Columbus. How do you get to Gander Mountain? I'll be coming up I-85. Did they have a VBOB?

I'm actually down in Valdosta, right on I-75 just north of the FL line. Let me know if that's within your range, and I can provide directions if you need. They did have a duty treat VBOB, but priced at $2499. ![]() |

You have a Gander Mountain in Valdosta?
![]() How'd y'all manage that? Yeah, I saw a duty finish VBOB at the Gander Mountain in Opelika, AL for that price, and I though it had to be a mistake. The duty finish Valor was only $1700. They both have the same MSRP. I used to drive down to Albany to shop at the Outdoor World there until it closed. I got my 30-06 Browning B78 Highwall there. I HATE driving through Atlanta, but I have to go through Atlanta to get to the Bass Pro Shop. I may have to make a pilgrimage down to Valdosta...

At the time, they had one duty treat Valor and one SS (the one I grabbed ... the guy checked in the back for another one, but said they only had the one in the case), a Guardian .45, a CCO and the VBOB. Once I confirmed the price on the VBOB I didin't even touch it. I decided I couldn't afford to like it! |

Thanks, and I know what you mean. I moved to Wisconsin for a couple of years for a job that looked too good to turn down. Two winters up there, and suddenly the job didn't look that good anymore. Now that I'm back, I'm staying put.
