Since I have a dog in this fight, I thought this was a Gun/Shooting site....
We Have all guns from old SAA's to Long guns to very small guns. This might have started off as a Dan Wesson 1911 site....But I was invited to join, and Now that one of the premier shooting academies has gone to Glock, and everyone is showing off their leather, grips, knives etc... I see no problem to showing off one of the best selling guns in the world. Yes, I shoot 1911's and carry them, but they are not Dan Wesson's and they are all custom made..... Does that mean they can not be on the site....... IMHO

And I own several
 s.... Which I like very very much. And I'll stand by my statement that this is primarily a 1911 dan wesson site and that we can't expect people to appreciate enhancements. Just sayin'

No, that is the coffee machine pull lever...
Yes, it is a slide racker, so you do not have to keep on hitting the red dot
